I recently worked with Brinks, and I am extremely pleased with my experience and would highly recommend them.
I contacted Brinks because my realtor recommended them to me. I was under contact to sell my house in Jersey City Heights, NJ, and had a 20-year decommissioned oil tank in the front of the house that needed to be removed prior to closing. I had no idea where to start, was extremely stressed out because of this, and after calling 3 companies to get quotes, including the original company that decommissioned the tank, I went with Brinks. Why?
Let me just say: everyone at Brinks was extremely helpful and diligent in their communication, procedures, and tank removal. They were communicative, honest, and gracious when I spoke with them, and that put me at ease. I live out of state, so this was very important to me. From acquiring permits, corresponding with the city (not an easy feat), scheduling the removal, testing the soil, disposing of the tank, creating the report for the city, and repairing the sidewalk, I had absolutely no worries in this stressful process and was very pleased.
We cannot say enough about the professionalism and workmanship that brinks did with removing the oil tank. The entire process was exceptional…. They handled it all… from permits to inspections to completion.
The office people were very helpful frank the salesperson was very good also Ricardo and his helper were great he was excellent with the backhoe in a tight space they did a great job and cleaned up everything after the tank was removed
We hired Brinks to remove an oil tank from an investment property we purchased in Union City. The job was tough. The tank was buried underneath a city sidewalk. It was on a small city street which required a lot of logistics. The city was even worse, they had unreasonable expectations and changed the date of the job on us at the 11th hour.
Throughout all of this turmoil the entire staff at Brink's was top notch. Their admin staff (shoutout to Marla) always picked up the phone when we called, answered our questions, and followed up when needed. Frank Abate was a pleasure to work with, as he ultimately helped navigate through the city approvals we needed to get the job approved. Finally, on the big day, when the job proved to be more difficult than expected, the team stayed ALL NIGHT to make sure it was done correctly to strict city specifications. We received our 'No Further Action' letter about a month and a half after the job was complete. I would 110% recommend Brink's Tank Services to anyone looking to remove a tank in the North NJ area. Any questions please reach out to me.
I am writing this honest review on behalf of the brinks team. I had a closing deadline within two months. I had to remove my underground oil tank, as well as a gas conversion, and repavement of the driveway. The brinks team saw my sense of urgency, and we’re all hands on deck since I hired them. The process was super smooth from start to finish. I want to especially thank Brian, Bob, and the entire office team. These guys are true professionals, and can be trusted to get the job done on time with zero defects. Thank you all so much I know I am almost a year late on this review, but better late than never especially for your amazing company. God Bless
Brinks Tank Service did an outstanding job removing my old oil tank. From start to finish they provided professional efficient service Ricardo and Ed were like surgeons, carefully removing my tank while preserving my beautiful Japanese Maple tree near it. They really went the extra mile! And when they were done, they cleaned up and it looked as if nothing had been disturbed. They are true professionals. I highly recommend this service!
Tank removal and remediation done professionally with extreme care. Would recommend these guys in a heartbeat to do the work. Fairly priced and good scheduling with out long wait. They go the extra mile for the customer to meet the needs at hand. I assure you that you won't be disappointed using Brinks.
One of the most dreaded decisions concerning my home, was to remove a 40+ year old 1000 gallon oil tank buried in the back yard. A gentleman named Frank came to my home and offered a reasonable quote for the work. He also put my mind at ease by going over many what if scenarios and answered all of my questions. While waiting for the day the tank would be removed I was kept in the loop by their office personnel, Bryanah. Considering all of the horror stories I'd heard over the years I thought for sure I was going to be trouble. They arrived in the morning with their equipment and skillfully navigated my back yard to the tank location. Once there, they dug up, cut up, cleaned and removed the tank. Then it was inspected by the municipal inspector. Luckily there were no leaks or holes in the tank...WHEW! I have to say that all who were involved in my project acted with professionalism and it has been a refreshing change to see a company who cares about the quality of their work. I highly recommend Brinks.
From start to finish Brink's Tank Services provided excellent service in every way. The job was well done, it was done in a timely manner and with good communication throughout the entire process. Frank Abate is a professional who is a pleasure to work with. His entire team- (from the person who answers the phone to each person I spoke with-) has customer service skills that are worthy of mention. We will be recommending Brink's and sharing our experience.
